I am especially pleased to announce the release of a double-sided map covering the Tweedsmuir area, a wilderness preserve the size of Belgium west of the Chilcotin in the central western part of the province. The southern part follows historic Highway 20 west through exotic-sounding towns like Tatla Lake and Anahim Lake to Bella Coola and the fiords of the province’s west coast. The park, named after another Governor-General, is a canoeing paradise, especially along Whitesail and Eutsuk lakes, and also includes the western half of the Aleander Mackenzie Trail, following the route of the first man to explore North America from east to west, in 1793; AVAILABLE.
